Mt. Kumgang 

The mountain is in the northern part of the Thaebaek Mountains in the central part of the east coast of Korea.

It is 60km long from the north to the south, 40km long from the east to the west and covers an area of 530 square kilometres in Kosong and Kumgang counties in Kangwon Province.

It is known as one of the six celebrated mountains, eight beauty spots and three sacred mountains in Korea from olden times for its diverse, magnificent, exquisite and mystic natural landscape.
