Ullim Falls

The waterfall is located in Munchon, Kangwon Province.

75 metres high, it is one of the celebrated waterfalls in Korea.

It is called so in the sense that the sound of the waterfall shakes the valley and travels far and wide.

The water of the fall originated in the Masikryong Mountains, and 20-25 cubic metres of water falls down per second in the middle of a steep cliff.

Below the falls is a pond, which is 1.5 metres in depth and 30 metres in radius.

It is a cultural recreation ground favoured by the people.
